These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Venn website at venn-tau.vercel.app and any related services provided by Venn ("we", "us", or "our"). By joining our waitlist or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Venn

Venn is a pre-launch flatmate matching platform designed to connect students and young professionals in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Pune. The service is currently in a waitlist-only phase — no matching, messaging, or listing features are live yet.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Venn or join our waitlist. By submitting your email, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Venn platform, a specific launch date, or any particular feature. We reserve the right to invite users to the platform in any order we choose. Waitlist spots are non-transferable.

4. Acceptable use

When using our website or communicating with us, you agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
• Use our service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit someone else's email address without their consent.
• Harass, threaten, or harm any other person in connection with our service.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the Venn name, logo, visual design, and copy — is owned by or licensed to Venn. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Disclaimers

Venn is provided "as is" during the pre-launch phase. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the accuracy of information on the site. Joining the waitlist carries no contractual obligation on our part to launch the service or offer any specific features.

Venn does not conduct background checks on waitlist members at this stage. Once the platform launches, verification requirements will be detailed separately.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Venn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or the waitlist service.

8. Third-party services

Our website uses Supabase to store waitlist data. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that service's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
